Special Olympics

The Special Olympics has been going on in Boise all week. I've been attending a lot of the ice skating competitions. Today I was at ice skating all day- to watch the athletes and to see Joe Biden who was coming. His flight ended up being delayed about four hours, but I waited! I ended up getting to see Michelle Kwan, Scott Hamilton, AND Joe Biden!!! It was super exciting. I was probably only 15 feet away from him at two different times. And when Biden took his seat to watch the ice skating (which was just about right in front of me, only downstairs), a secret service guy stood about 6inches away from me the whole time!! It was kinda scary, but kinda awesome!! I had a blast, Michelle Kwan, Scott Hamilton, Joe Biden, and Secret Service- what a day!!!!
